What Is AGNES RF Microneedling ?

AGNES RF is a one-of-a-kind non-surgical Radio Frequency (RF) platform that can sculpt and contour the face, neck, chin as well as other small body areas.

Originally developed as a permanent solution for active acne, AGNES RF has been found to also be remarkably effective as a face, jaw, and eye area rejuvenator and ideal as a non-surgical face and neck contour. What is the science?

The science behind AGNES is what sets it apart from other microneedling devices. Each of the micro-needles has an insulated coating which minimizes unnecessary damage to surrounding tissue, shortening recovery time and adding precision to the targeting of the radiofrequency energy.

AGNES radiofrequency safely targets the desired skin structure to heat the tissue to the exact temperature to destroy and coagulate fat and fatty structures in the skin. Simultaneously, it increases the production and firming of collagen and elastin, leading to cell turn-over and internal restructuring of the skin, making it firmer and tighter.

During treatment

AGNES treatments require twenty minutes or less, once a numbing cream has taken effect. Your practitioner will configure the handset micro-needle and energy settings for your particular goals. Pulses will be precisely targeted into the wrinkle or fat pad under treatment.

Occasionally, for deeper fat, or eye bag treatments, local anesthetic injections may be used in addition to numbing cream.

Post-treatment care

Many can return immediately to regular activities. Ice may be used to calm any discomfort or sensitivity to the treated area.

If you are treated for deeper lines/wrinkles, or eye bags, you may experience redness, bruising, or swelling for one to three days, followed by up to a week of minimal visible side effects. Occasionally, with these deeper treatments, you may be sensitive and have some numbness for up to four weeks.

If you are concerned about the length of downtime, but want the same results, a regimen of lighter treatments can be substituted for one deeper treatment.

Lighter treatments will have far fewer side effects, most of which may be concealed with tinted moisturizer or makeup just a few days after treatment.
