If you have spent a small fortune on “miracle” eye creams, cooling rollers, and high-end concealers only to see the same puffiness every morning, I have some “physician straight-talk” for you: a cream cannot fix a structural issue.
As a board-certified internist, I often have to explain the anatomy of the eye area to my patients. Under-eye bags are rarely about “exhaustion” or “hydration.” More often, they are caused by small pockets of fat that have shifted or protruded over time.
