Plasmage® is a noninvasive treatment using plasma energy.
It is particularly effective for addressing sagging or droopy eyelids.
(Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty)
Plasma energy on the skin has been shown to activate collagen synthesis, leading to skin tightening and lifting without damaging the dermis.
Additionally, Plasmage® is widely utilized to remove various skin imperfections such as skin tags, small benign lesions like seborrheic keratoses, cysts, and even challenging milia extractions.
It is ideal for treating fine lines (including fine perioral lip lines), wrinkles, skin tone, texture, and xanthelasma.
Plasmage® treats only the targeted skin area, without reaching or affecting underlying muscle or fat tissues. Sagging skin should not be excessively severe for optimal results.
PLASMAGE ® delivers plasma energy to the aimed at by the ionizing of ambient gas in the air. Plasma is delivered through a small probe or applicator. The probe is applied to the surface of the skin without direct contact as the plasma energy creates microinjuries. Because only highly focused dots of energy are applied to the treatment area, the skin undergoes a more rapid healing process. You may experience some redness for 24-48 hours but can resume regular activities embracing your revitalized appearance while the plasma energy
beneath the skin's surface continues to exert its effects over time and provide longer lasting results.
Q: WHAT IS BLEFAROPLASMA?
A: Blefaroplasma® with PLASMAGE® may be defined as a non-invasive
eyelid treatment that improves or enhances the appearance of brighter,
wider eyes by gently tightening the eyelid skin with tissue coagulation.
Q: HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL TREATMENT SESSION?
A: Treatment sessions are relatively short. The procedure typically takes about 15 minutes depending on the
size of the area being treated and the overall treatment visit typically can be done within an hour.
Q: DOES PLASMAGE HURT?
A: We prioritize your comfort. As in the case with most device treatments, topical numbing cream or anesthetic
is applied to the treatment area. Following the treatment, light cooling or RE|PAIR Skin Revitalizing Serum may
be applied to the skin to reduce visible signs of inflammation and sooth the skin.
Q. IS THERE MUCH DOWNTIME AFTER A PLASMAGE TREATMENT?
A. The device creates microthermal treatment zones; these small dots are visible immediately after the treatment and result in tiny scabs that gradually heal and fall off over 7 – 10 days. Some swelling is also common after treatment, which may be more obvious on day two. The area treated may be
tender for 1-4 days. Makeup can be used to cover any redness, once the skin has healed; this redness will
typically resolve within 2 months.
Q: AM I A CANDIDATE FOR THIS TREATMENT?
A: PLASMAGE® is suitable for anyone seeking skin revitalization. Individuals of all ages and skin types may be
candidates. Ask your provider if this treatment is right for you.
